This year’s Cropredy Festival takes place over three days from Thursday August 9th through to Sunday 11th. The main headliners will, as ever, be Fairport Convention and they’re joined on the Saturday by Show of Hands, The Hamsters, Stackridge, Bob Fox and The Unprofessionals. For the first time Cropredy will be on a Thursday night a well as the weekend. Headlining the first night are legendary folkies The Incredible String Band who are joined by the reformed All About Eve. Friday night’s headliners are Robert Plant’s Priory of Brion project as well as the Albion Band, Jerry Donahue, Plainsong and Little Johnny England. The folk and blues festival has earned a reputation over its 25 year history as one of the friendliest and cleanest outdoor music events in the UK and traditionally features all manner of special guests as well as the annual Cropredy village against Fairport cricket match (which Fairport are yet to win).
