SONIQUE’S THREE-WEEK residency at the number 1 slot in the singles chart has provided an Oxford songwriter with the city’s most surprising success of the year so far. As reported in the April issue of Nightshift, Linus Burdick, who has been making music locally for a number of years, co-wrote the hit single, ‘It Feels So Good’, last year and has watched it become one of the biggest international hits of recent times. The song was initially a hit Stateside where it was one of only two British singles in the Billboard Hot 100. It has since become the first single in the UK to stay the number 1 slot for three weeks. Over the summer it is set to become an even greater success in the clubs and charts of Europe. Linus has, in the past, worked with acts like The Orb and The Shamen. |
